• Email address — collected when you join our waitlist, used to notify you when ScoreMate launches and send product updates.
• Usage data — via Google Analytics 4, we collect anonymised data about how visitors interact with our website, including pages viewed, time on site, and general geographic region (country/city level). Your full IP address is not stored.
• Golf scores and group data — once the app launches, we collect scores, handicap data and group information you voluntarily enter to provide the scoring service.

• To send you a confirmation when you join the waitlist
• To notify you when ScoreMate launches
• To send occasional product updates and launch news (you can unsubscribe at any time)
• To understand how visitors use our website and improve it
• To provide and maintain the ScoreMate scoring service

Waitlist email addresses are stored securely via Formspree's infrastructure. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

7. How Long We Keep Your Data

• Waitlist emails — retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion, or until 12 months after ScoreMate's public launch.
• Analytics data — retained for 14 months (Google Analytics default).
• App data — retained for the duration of your subscription plus 30 days after cancellation.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Right to access the data we hold about you
• Right to correct inaccurate data
• Right to request deletion of your data
• Right to withdraw consent at any time
